Dr Michael Weiss is the founder of Ninth Avenue Dental. The office was started in 1986. Dr Weiss has a BA in philosophy from Yeshiva University, and a DDS from SUNY at Stony Brook where he continued studying philosophy in a masters program and dentistry in the School of Dental Medicine.
In opening Ninth Avenue Dental, he sought to establish a high quality dental office that is responsive to patients as people who each have unique needs, both health and economic. The offices approach is to work closely with the patients insurance and develop payment plans that are comfortable and realistic for our patients. This requires great communication.
The other dentists in the office, as well as the auxiliary staff both clinical and administrative, reflect the ethnic diversity that is New York and the Brooklyn communities of Park Slope, Sunset Park, Boro Park, and Bay Ridge that we serve,
We speak English, Spanish, Russian, Filipino, Hebrew, Arabic, Yiddish, French and Chinese.
We believe in the privacy of the patient. It is our obligation to do the best we can for the patient both medically, dentally, and economically, while education the patient in dentistry and prevention at the same time.
